A coastline that has been stealing hearts since the Roman Empire.
This is the Italy people dream of but rarely crack. We base ourselves on one island and explore a carefully curated stretch of Mediterranean coastline cranked up to eleven.
Starting with wild Naples, a detour through ancient Pompeii, and then nothing but sea air and luxe old-world Italy energy from here.
Let us take care of all of the details so you can immerse yourself in the beauty, culture and the lifestyle of easy living on the coast.
You’ll have connections the minute you step off the plane.
For people who want fun, easy, insider travel — elevated.
Travel on a unique itinerary, in a small group. When you travel with our trusted Italian Fix guides, they know the language, the culture and how to travel in this area. Not only do they handle all the details — they handle them in a way that gets you access to things you otherwise wouldn’t.
After a great trip to Naples & Pompeii, our home base is on the island of Ischia. Unlike other island destinations that require complex transfers, Ischia is well connected by a 50-minute passenger ferry from Naples.
You’ll love staying on Ischia. Imagine your leisurely breakfast on the terrace, sipping your cappuccino amid the sounds of the birds in the garden. You can wander down to the ocean, beach club or the village center as it’s all just steps away.
If you love finding “in the know” places that are less busy than other famous spots, this trip is tailor-made for you. Ischia is well known to Italians and some European insiders but is under the radar for most others.
This means you have a slice of insider Italy, which is delicious.
Within 90 minutes from Naples, you could be neck-deep in the natural thermal waters at your spa hotel or two bites deep at the pizzeria on the main drag, steps from our hotel.
The rest of your vacation unfolds seamlessly because you have bilingual, professional Italian Fix guides, engaging activities, and a perfect balance of active and relaxing moments that we’re known for.
Travel, Ischia, Capri, Procida & Naples.
Our private driver will help you explore the island effortlessly, especially since most months, foreigners are restricted from bringing their cars. Plus, local insight is invaluable — that is something we always provide. From tiny wineries where the locals take their friends, to grand promenades to hole-in-the-wall eateries to beach clubs to spas — the highlights are shared with you, and you enjoy them effortlessly.
Naples is genuinely one of the most visceral, chaotic, and thrilling cities in Europe, made a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1995. Our private tour will guide you through the narrow alleys of Spaccanapoli and of course we’ll be eating at a historic pizzeria. We’ll take a day trip to one of the most famous historical sites on the planet — the ancient ruins of Pompeii. A city frozen in time after being buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
This is the most indulgent experience across our entire portfolio of trips. People fly from all over Europe to come to this wellness park. Rest and reset with hydrotherapy at a fabulous nature spa. Imagine a private park, featuring thermal and saltwater pools, a steam grotto, loungers, a private beach and nothing to do all day except enjoy.
Visit the culturally rich island of Procida, honored as the 2022 Capital of Culture. Discover under-the-radar locations where we actively support local economies. We’ll tour with our guide and show you all the things you would miss if you came alone. You’ll see how special Procida is and how little tourism it has when you’re there.
This region is conveniently serviced by hydrofoils, and we take care of all the tickets and logistics for you. Enjoy inside seating and onboard services during your journey. We include pickup and return to Naples for a seamless experience.

We’ll meet late afternoon in our hotel, located off the pedestrian street in the historic center. Enjoy a walking tour of Naples and browse the unique alleys of Spaccanapoli, with laundry hanging from the balconies and all. Here everyday life happens in centuries-old architecture. We’ll have our first dinner together in Naples. Sleep: Naples.

We’ll check out after breakfast. Our private driver will take us to Pompeii. We’ll tour the archaeological site with our Pompeii expert, because ancient Rome comes together through stories. This city froze in time, after being buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After lunch we’ll drive back to Naples and head down to the port to catch the hydrofoil to Ischia, a 50-minute ride. We’ll check into our spa hotel, just minutes from the port. Our 5-star hotel is within walking distance of all amenities. Ischia is known for its thermal waters, and we’ve chosen a spa hotel so you can soak in these healing waters anytime you like during your stay. The 5-star hotel images are here. Sleep: Ischia

Our first full day on Ischia includes a tour of the island (it’s bigger than you think and has a lot of small villages), so you can get the lay of the land with our private driver and guide. First up is a wine tasting at a local vineyard. We’ll also travel to the incredible village of Sant’Angelo and have lunch together at a unique location you would only hear about with a local. Lots of great food and wine (or alternatives) is always on our mind. Free time for dinner or just relaxing in the hotel mineral pools. Sleep: Ischia

Today we’ll spend the day on the island of Capri. You’ll cruise the coast on our private chartered boat that travels from Ischia. We can stop where we want and swim anytime, and we avoid the busy ferry to Capri. That classic shot of you living your best life with the Faraglioni (those steep rock formations in all the shots of Capri) behind you isn’t going to take itself, after all. You’ll tour Capri with your guide, then have some free time. We’ll travel back to Ischia before dinnertime. Sleep: Ischia

Spend a day of pure relaxation at the renowned thermal baths, frequented by Europeans in the know who travel from all corners of the continent to experience this oasis. Spanning acres of gardens and featuring a pretty beach and pools, this destination promises rejuvenation. Massages and other services are available to book for additional fees and we can set that up for you of course. Sleep: Ischia

One of the highlights of our journey is visiting Procida, currently known only among savvy travelers. In 2022, it became Italy’s first island to win the prestigious Capital of Culture award, receiving a million-euro prize to preserve its rich cultural heritage. Procida is often overshadowed by more glamorous islands nearby, which is exactly why we’re going. We have a unique route that takes you to the best overlooks on the island where you can take stunning photos. A relaxed lunch in the marina rounds out a pretty perfect Procida day. Sleep: Ischia

Check-out and departure day with transfer back to Naples. Included transfers are to your hotel or to the airport. You might even be heading to another Italian Fix trip after this. View our calendar to see all of your options. Whatever you need, we’ll help. Buon viaggio!

I’ve suggested this trip to many friends, especially the tired ones. Because I genuinely believe it’s medicine for the insane times we’re living in. Ischia is Europe, but from another decade. One that hasn’t been gentrified, rebranded, or put on a hot list. This is wellness travel without it being all “wellnessy”. But when you’re coming to a place that Roman emperors used to travel to just to soak — take note!
Which is a direct way of saying — this experience is perfect for someone who has a natural affinity for Italy but also revels in off-the-beaten-track places, because that’s what Ischia is. Not like Capri isn’t world-famous and iconic, but on this trip you can have your tiramisu and eat it too.
We’ll kick off the trip in Naples with our city tour and of course, a meal at a historic pizzeria. Pompeii is just outside Naples and you should see it once in your lifetime, so we’ll do that too.
On Ischia, we stay at an old-world-vibe 5-star spa hotel. And while it’s central in the main village of Ischia, it’s a world away from any crowds. My list of non-negotiables when designing this itinerary was that it had to be a place that is unglobalized, an old-world Italian hotel on zero “hot lists,” and I wanted guests to experience a trip they didn’t know even existed, let alone know they needed.
I’m a sucker for the thermal spas and parks — and Ischia checks all the boxes for a world-class experience, with none of the formalities. It’s barefoot natural beauty that’s unique to the islands.
Oh, wait — there’s more! This trip fits inside a single week of vacation time and you’ll be home by the weekend. It also stacks beautifully onto our other tours if you want two weeks. Either way, we’ll help you design it.
You didn’t know you needed this. I did.
With love + limoncello,
Italian Fix was founded
Maximum guests we accept per year
Of guests have left us a 10/10 review post-trip
Of guests love our customer service
We have so many returning guests because they know they can trust us.
Return guests sometimes book the exact same trip to repeat the magic.
Our guests protect their investment by purchasing insurance.
Some of our guests are going through big life transitions; others are celebrating milestones.
Many guests meet lifelong friends on the trip and they return on future trips, together.

They book well in advance, sometimes as soon as trips are released, to secure their preferred dates before they sell out.
You buy insurance, or use the insurance you already own (through work coverage, etc.). Insurance protects you should you fall ill before you travel, or an immediate family member does. Policies vary and you can shop around for the best plan.
You’ll travel on comfortable passenger ferries, with snacks and restroom facilities.
Our travelers make connections that are deep and real between each other. With social disconnection on the rise more than ever, infusing your life with good people is a sacred act. (We have a knack for attracting interesting and great people!)
One of the most beautiful things about our trips is that they attract a lot of different kinds of people — and we’re proud of that. Our fun, safe, and let-your-hair-down energy draws the right guests from around the world with different backgrounds — because wanting to live your dolce vita transcends any location or age range.
We have guests who return to Italian Fix year after year. From the person who enjoys traveling solo to the besties who want to take a trip of a lifetime, they all want to have a carefree, fun-filled, and relaxing week. They trust Italian Fix to handle all the details.
We’re a boutique travel company with unique itineraries that focus on the lifestyle of the areas we visit. We’re intentional about sustainable travel experiences that support local economies. Although we love the finer things in life (we even train our hosts with some of the same service tenets as the Ritz Carlton), we want to do things differently.
We want our trips to be more open to a diverse set of travelers than a typical tour operator that only serves the 1%. We like to think of our experiences as a beautiful balance of activities and cadence that lets you savor your vacation — we do mix things up but we do not run you off your feet.
We might offer a stunning multi-course meal with wine pairings at an award-winning restaurant one evening, and the next day, we’ll eat a panino at the market. Because we know you’re not traveling to Europe for a Disneyland-esque experience. You’re here to experience the lifestyle, which has nothing to do with thread count (although we do love that crisply ironed European bedding).
We offer our guests a beautifully layered and nuanced experience that uplifts and gets you into the heart of the places you’re traveling.
Transformative experiences, connections, belonging, and belly laughter are the ultimate luxuries.
We have a combination of solo travelers, people traveling with friends, and people traveling with partners/spouses on all of our tours.
First off, we speak the language! We also understand the context, the customs, and the community of every location we visit. In Europe, it’s not what you know — it’s who you know. And we know people.
We’re a small company that serves just 200 guests per year. You can read more about us here. By comparison, most tour operators are massive — some serve about 30,000 people a year! That’s not who we are — we’re female-owned and getting to know each of our travelers by name is super important! We truly want to get to know you.
When you add up six nights, most meals and wine, a private boat, tours and activities, ground transportation, all tips, and a bilingual guide — the per-day cost is less than going alone. But you still wouldn’t get the access. That part isn’t for sale anywhere else.
Coming with us is like having a backstage pass. If you travel without us, you’re just one in a million foreigners waiting in lines and trying to get service. No connections or language fluency makes you the odd one out.
Our travel style allows you to be among friends and have access to things you couldn’t find on your own. No big-box concept of tourism around here. At Italian Fix, we’re mindful about keeping traditions alive and supporting local economies.
Our carefully crafted itineraries have been perfected over years of hosting successful trips, so they play out like a symphony — with cadence, timing, and rhythm. All of our trips have up-time and down-time. The introverts who need quiet to recharge can get it, and the extroverts who derive energy from new connections can thrive too. One of our mottos is “Hey, it’s your holiday — opt out of any days you like.” We have lots to see, eat, do and explore whenever you wish to join in. Just put on your comfy shoes and andiamo!
Many of our guests are in the same boat. We have people who are going through life changes and more traveling is calling them. You’ll fit right in (and life is better with people who get you and you could potentially travel with in the future!).
