POST ON YOUR DREAMBOARD

Rome is perfect for romantics — pick oranges together in the lush Giardino Degli Aranci (they’re in season in the winter in Italy), toss a coin and make a wish with your amore at the Trevi Fountain, or take a cruise along the Tiber. If you wanna go all out with your date, set aside an evening to dine at La Pergola, the only restaurant in the Eternal City to be awarded three Michelin Stars (that’s the most you can get, btw). Located inside the Waldorf Astoria, they have over 53,000 bottles in their wine cellar, vintage balsamic from the best producers in the country, olive oil and salt menus, and even 29 different types of water to choose from (although I could see myself rebelling at this decadence and just ordering tap water). You’ve got to go the distance to be awarded all those stars! La Pergola is so very extra and therefore a destination in itself for foodies near and far. Make sure you book well in advance — they usually have a waitlist.

SLEEP HERE

The Amalfi coast is also dripping with that’s amore vibes. Hotel Mediterraneo is kitted out for lovebugs with couples massages, plush clifftop rooms, and sunset cocktails on the rooftop bar. As if things weren’t already steamy enough, the view from one of their restaurants is Vesuvius — I mean, that’s hot, right? The elevator to the private beach — si, grazie.

WHAT WE’RE LOVING RIGHT NOW

Traveling as a couple is so much fun. Meeting new people while you’re away is better. You can do just-the-two-of-you things… and also the-more-the-merrier things. What’s best? Traveling in the safety and comfort of a group, and leaving all the planning to us. We’ve got packs of two and three couples touring with us this year, friends who have chosen Italian Fix for their group trip so that no one gets stuck doing all the organizing.

Surprise your love with a couple of spots on one of our trips to the Italian Riviera or Sicily. We have one space left for a couple on our 8-night Sicily trip and room for a couple of couples on our 7-night Cinque Terre trip this September. Haven’t gotten your Valentine a gift yet? This is an epic one they won’t soon forget. Availability dwindles by the week and we’re not adding any more dates for 2022 — send us an email and we’ll check what we’ve still got open in real time, plus make recommendations based on your personal preferences and availability. We’d love to have you join us! (Here are 40 other reasons you should.)

WISH WE WERE HERE

On any bridge in Florence, at night. Always a hit if you head there with your boo, or just enjoying your own company, thankful for another day on this side of things. This is the view courtesy of Ponte Vecchio in Florence.
