Visit 3 Countries, With Ease

The Riviera is a stunning sliver of land and sea where France, Monaco, and Italy meet. This area embodies a luxurious lifestyle, and this trip immerses you in it.

From our marina-side hotel in Monaco, overlooking the yachts of the wealthiest, to a day in Cannes at the ritziest strip of the Riviera, to the market in Antibes where everyone gathers to buy their daily bread, to the casino of Monte Carlo, you participate in daily life with insider access that only local guides and connections can provide.

Why This Trip is Perfect For You

Lovers of the good life unite! This experience is all about soaking in the inspiration and upbeat energy of the area. Spend 9 days in the most gorgeous surroundings of palatial villas, gardens, yachts in the marina, and grand boulevards with chic cafes, and beach clubs. This journey balances big-name attractions, like Monaco and Portofino, with lesser-known locales along the way.

We begin in France, staying in Nice. Then we travel to Monaco, before heading into Italy and staying in Portofino. We also explore Cannes, Antibes, Saint-Paul de Vence, and more.

WHAT GUESTS SAY

What You’ll Experience Over 9 Beautiful Days of Carefree Living

Travel France, Monaco, and Italy.

Experience the Good Life of
The Italian & French Rivieras.

Selected Locations of the French Riviera

There is so much to see, but we’ve curated a perfect balance of diverse locations. While you may be familiar with Nice, Cannes, and Antibes, we also visit charming hamlets off the beaten path. These French towns offer a picture-perfect cross-section of the region. Enjoy excellent browsing, shopping, and dining throughout our carefully selected destinations.

Curated Sights To Capture the Spirit of 3 Countries

We cherry-pick our favorite entrances to select monuments, allowing plenty of time to savor each experience. Rather than exhausting our guests with endless historical sites, we carefully choose a few key locations that balance history, luxury, and fun, providing rich cultural context without overwhelming.

Excellent Central Hotels in Historical Locations

In Nice, we stay in an Art-Nouveau landmark hotel with gardens, just steps from everything. In Monaco, we stay at the marina, with a view of the super yachts. In Portofino, we stay right on the main piazza amongst the luxury shops. We return to these hotels yearly.

Private Boat Trip

Your life, Riviera style. Pass by the famous villas along the coast on a private boat tour with our local captain. Enjoy free time to swim from our boat, sip cocktails, or do both.

Travel in A Comfy Private Van

Our small passenger vans can travel where big buses cannot. We have our drivers, guides, and unique routes to maximize the area without wasting time. Transfers include transfer from Nice airport on pickup day.

We’re Different. We’re Not Like The Other Companies Who Have Thousands Of Guests A Season. We Serve Under 150 Guests Per Year.

The Italian & French Rivieras - Daily Itinerary

Arrival Day

It’s so easy to get to Nice — there’s an international airport here. Our driver will collect you as soon as you land and transfer you to your Nice hotel. That night we’ll gather for a gorgeous welcome dinner after exploring Nice on a tour. All the hotel images are here.

Day 2

Get your fill of pain-au-chocolat at breakfast before you head out with your host to explore the French Riviera. We have a private driver to get us around, so we’ll head to Eze and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, where we’ll tour the most beautiful historical landmarks, like the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Lunch is at the villa teahouse. Tonight you’ll be back in Nice with some free time for your personal interests (even if those personal interests only include cocktails at the hotel bar). Relax at the beach club, shop, or choose your favorite restaurant from our recommendations.

Day 3

After a relaxing morning and good conversation over great French pastries, we’ll head on an afternoon adventure to Cannes, Antibes and Saint-Paul de Vence. Fall in love with the hillside village of Saint-Paul de Vence, and the market in Antibes. Free time in Cannes for lunch and wandering. Tonight is a walking tour of Nice with a street food tour and dinner in a traditional “wine cave” of France where we’ll uncork local varieties and drink some excellent recommendations from the sommelier.

Day 4

This is a Choose Your Own Adventure Day — you can go shopping, visit galleries, or hit the spa or beaches of the Riviera.

Day 5

Today we depart Nice and travel to Monaco. We’ll check into our Monaco hotel, enjoy a walking tour of the area, and have lunch at the market. Dinner is at a famous Monte Carlo brasserie. Monaco is full of concerts, ballets, plays, and orchestras, so if you want to fit it all in — we support that!

Day 6

Today is a walking tour of Monaco, which includes the stunning oceanographic museum, the Grace Kelly Gardens, and the Royal Palace. There is so much to see and do here! But long leisurely lunches are also a priority, so we’ll pencil them in too. Free time in Monaco that night.

Day 7

Today we check-out of our Monaco hotel, and we’re off to Italy! It’s just a few hours down the coast, and we’ll stop at some Italian landmarks along the way, including a local trattoria. We’ll enjoy a casual lunch at a local pizzeria, ‘cause… Italy! Our hotel in Portofino is right in the piazza so you’re close to everything.

Day 8

This morning we have a private boat waiting to take us along the Italian coast. We’ll head to the hidden Abbey of San Fruttuoso and swim in the bay or just watch the world (and the yachts) go by. Our final night dinner will be at the most famous table in Portofino with a view.

Day 9

This morning we’re checking out of our hotel. Continue exploring Italy or fly home after breakfast. We’ll help you with all pre-and post-trip planning. Buon viaggio!

What Guests Say About Italian Fix

HOW IT WORKS

Book This 2025 Trip, Limited to 16 Guests.

Notes From Our Founder, Bianca

For over 14 years, I’ve been bringing people to the Italian Riviera. By chance, I’ve experienced Riviera living for most of my adult life, having married a man from the charming city of La Spezia.

While not everyone marries a Rivieras resident or has the chance to collect stories along this stunning coastline each summer, my mission is to share decades of Riviera ease with you.

I believe strolling down the boulevard in a new dress, a good mood, and even better company can cure all sorts of ailments. Though I’m no doctor, I can attest that this lifestyle has been wonderful for me, and I designed the experience to download an inspirational and forget-your-worries holiday. I’m thrilled to offer our lucky guests a transformative trip that spans three countries in one unforgettable journey.

Pack your good shoes and your good mood — this is the good life, Rivieras style!

With love + champagne,

Bianca

Frequently Asked Questions

You can buy insurance, or use the insurance they already own (through work coverage etc.) Insurance protects you should you fall ill before you travel, or an immediate family member does and you do not want to leave the country. Policies vary and you can shop around.

We’re a boutique travel company focused on unique itineraries that focus on the lifestyle of the areas we visit. We’re intentional about sustainable travel experiences that support local economies. Although we love the finer things in life (we even train our hosts with some of the same service tenets as the Ritz Carlton), we want to do things differently.

We want our trips to be more open to a diverse set of travelers than a typical tour operator that only serves the 1%. We like to think of our experiences as a beautiful balance of activities and cadence that lets you savor your vacation — we do mix things up but we do not run you off your feet.

We might offer a stunning multi-course meal with wine pairings at an award-winning restaurant one evening, and the next day, we’ll eat a panino at the market. Because we know you’re not traveling to Europe for a Disneyland-esque experience. You’re here to experience the lifestyle, which has nothing to do with thread count (although we do love that crisply ironed European bedding).

We offer our guests a beautifully layered and nuanced experience that uplifts and gets you into the heart of the places you’re traveling.

Transformative experiences, connections, belonging, and belly laughter are the ultimate luxuries.

We have a combination of solo travelers, people traveling with friends, and people traveling with partners/spouses on all of our tours. We also have a mix of “co-ed” and “women-only” dates.

First off, we speak the language! We also understand the context, the customs, and the community of every location we visit. In Europe, it’s not what you know — it’s who you know. And we know people.

We’re a small company that serves under 150 people per year. You can read more about us here. By comparison, most tour operators are massive — some serve about 30,000 people a year! That’s not who we are — we’re female-owned and getting to know each of our travelers by name is super important! We truly want to get to know you.

Coming with us is like having a backstage pass. If you travel without us, you’re just one in a million foreigners waiting in lines and trying to get service. No connections or language fluency makes you the odd one out.

Our travel style allows you to be among friends and have access to things you couldn’t find on your own. No big-box concept of tourism around here. At Italian Fix, we’re mindful about keeping traditions alive and supporting local economies.

One of the most beautiful things about our trips is that they attract a lot of different kinds of people — and we’re proud of that. Our fun, safe, and let-your-hair-down energy draws the right kind of guests from around the world with different backgrounds — because wanting to live your dolce vita is something that transcends any zip code or age range.

We have guests who return to Italian Fix year after year. From the person who enjoys traveling solo to the besties who want to take one more trip of a lifetime, they all want to live the Italian lifestyle in a carefree, fun-filled, and relaxing week. They trust Italian Fix to confidently handle all the details so the only thing they’re responsible for is embracing the art of living — Italian style

Our carefully crafted itineraries have been perfected over years of hosting successful trips, so they play out like a symphony — with cadence, timing, and rhythm. All of our trips have up-time and down-time. The introverts who need quiet to recharge can get it, and the extroverts who derive energy from new connections can thrive too. One of our mottos is “Hey, it’s your holiday — opt out of any days you like.” We have lots to see, eat, do, and explore whenever you wish to join in. Just put on your comfy shoes and andiamo!

Many of our guests are in the same boat. We have people who are going through life changes and more traveling is calling them. You’ll fit right in (and life is better with people who get you and you could potentially travel with in the future!).
